All aspects of the binding process can be adjusted via the colour touch-screen including clamp opening width, glue length regulation, binding time, spine binding pressure (dependant on cover thickness), creasing width and the milling disk height which consequently can be adjusted up to 3mm (0,08”) enabling folded sections to be milled from the spine of the document.
With labour saving equipment like a pneumatic cover feeding system it also has integrated creasing for the spine and hinges.

How does it works:
The operator sets the pitch, diameter, number of loops per piece and lenght to be bound in the computer. The machine automatically unwinds the spool, cuts the length to the set number of loops and carries it to the binding position. The operator then inserts the pre-punched block of sheets onto the waiting open wire comb.
Once inserted, he has only to push the footswitch and the book is automatically carried to the closing press, where it is automatically closed and ejected in to the box. There are no tools to change as the closing press is automatically adjustable for all the diameters and sizes.

Far 5/55 has been developed for fast punching of loose sheets in large quantities with any size and type of holes required for the different binding systems: wires, spiral, plastic combs.

How does it works :
Far 5/55 can be fed continuously with material of variable thickness (paper and/or light cardboard).
